About NightShelf
SYNTHETIC STAGING · Eight original fictional movies.
Titles, stories and keyword assignments in this demonstration were created for testing. Numeric movie keys are synthetic. This demo does not call the TMDB API or contain the TMDB movie catalog, movie images or a real feature snapshot.
How the demo works
Story Similarity compares stored text using TF-IDF and cosine similarity. Horror Element Match compares recognized keyword elements. Balanced Discovery combines both. No keyword match means UNKNOWN, not that an element is absent.
TMDB credits
The project owner reports direct TMDB approval for non-commercial similarity recommendation use. For TMDB-enabled versions of NightShelf, the attribution notice is:
